It has nothing to do with the greatness of the threat, an internet incident is no different than a text message threat, or phone call threat. In the end someone knows you, most likely knows where you live, and has the ability to fuck with you.

I meant social, such as asking someone out/breaking up with someone over the internet, trying to talk shit, etc.

That's how my first girlfriend decided to end it with me (myspace). It was the happiest night of my life (I was going to end it the next day). Though I was rather pissed that she didn't even write it herself (had a friend that was also my friend help).

Ah yes, this happened to my friend when he was talking to someone on yahoo chat, so he sent him a trojan horse through that thing where you view the other persons desktop through messenger, funny stuff. Sorry though.
