Need a tut for making maps Dark or Nightime

Can someone please get a tut to make a map look dark, i've been browsing everywhere and no luck, thanks!

Use this. It's pretty straight-foward, so a tutorial isn't necessary.

ok, well i tried it, but i do not like how it turns out. Like the sky is still bright, and all the textures are darker, it doesn't look right.

Skin the sky darker.

Open map in Entity
Go to the sky bitmap (under [bitm], you'll find it)
Click the plus at the top right and click Save/Export Bitmap
Open the dds in photoshop and edit to your liking
Go back to Entity and import it (again by clicking the plus)
Click plus again and click Internalize
Sign, FTP, and happy modding.
