I don't know the specs of that gfx card. What's the memory in it? If it's 128 MB or better, it'll run fine. More than 128 MB will be great.

Guess my bench marks where from a few years ago. Since that's the case, then you can get 1 Gig or RAM for cheaper that what I put.

Edit: Nevermind, in the case of a sale, yes the price is less than
$100, but since sales don't last forever, most 1 Gig RAM sticks are ~$100-225.

Pros: Works great at default setting.
Cons: Can't be overclocked to 200, even worse than Corsair valueselect ram.
Other Thoughts: Would not buy it again.
There were two other reviews... one was positive (but... he has an emachine... so... how much can he honestly know?...) and the other one was a so so review.

Lol...I should read things like that before I suggest them then lol...

EDIT: There are more than 3 reviews...186 total reviews, 154 of which were excellent, 13 were good, 9 average, 3 poor and 7 very poor....overall not too bad..

DDR ram seems to be relatively expensive compared to ddr2 these days. I got a 2gb kit(2x1gb) of ddr2-6400 for about $75.00 US.

Perhaps though, these would be better?

What's the difference between DDR and DDR2? (besides the fact that DDR2 is just a sequel to dance dance revolution -_-)

Wikipedia wrote:The key difference between DDR and DDR2 is that in DDR2 the bus is clocked at twice the speed of the memory cells, so four words of data can be transferred per memory cell cycle. Thus, without speeding up the memory cells themselves, DDR2 can effectively operate at twice the bus speed of DDR.

Supply and demand. DDR2 is phasing DDR out as DDR did to SDRAM.

So then this is the time to buy RAM? Since the best kind is less expensive?

Ram prices are relatively cheap right now, due to some lawsuit(s) against some Ram company.

I got a 2gb kit of pc2-6400(800MHz) for $75US($79.99 CAD).
