I haven't looked into complete emulation, so for now you would need to have both controllers plugged in. The computer can override any of the ones plugged in though.

As far as I'm concerned, nothing that runs on a computer is secure. The dll will be protected as much as possible, and those who posess the knowledge required to crack the protection schemes, deserve to have the source anyways...
