External Map Paths

Post by G.I.R. »

So I had my maps all in a folder called Halo 2 Shared under My Documents (C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Halo 2 Shared), but I recently got a new hard drive, so I transfered them all over to a new path (S:\My Documents\Halo 2 Shared) and changed the external map paths in the respective programs to the new location, but whenever I try to open any map, its gives me the "Mainmenu not found" error, even if its in a folder with the mainmenu. Wtf? :|

idk why it would do this, but my suggestion would be to put just the mainmenu and shared files back to where they were in the C drive, and just tell Entity to find them instead. I'm sure you can still open maps on another drive but still read the shared maps on the C drive.

EDIT: Actually, I went and manually edited the settings files for each app and it worked. Dunno why it wouldn't work when I set it inside the program. =/
