I havn't realy seen warlord give a good comment about a mod in a long time = \ although seems good if you spent that long on it I might try it later

Well really this mod wasn't so much to seem epic but to feel epic, but at the same time I had learned a lot about modding Halo so pretty much this is my first awesome mod besides a couple of my skins I have made.

Actually, what I think the kid means is that he's thirteen years old, you guys are twenty, but you guys are acting like 10 year olds.

I'm not trying to be offensive, but this mod is not what I would give a "good" comment either. Subtle lighting and shader changes are nice, but I can't see anything which took much work to do.

Halo PC modding has been around since early 2003, with all the tutorials lying around and people willing to help you, most people would expect more than this.

And since Halo modding has been around for so long, do you really think you can keep a secret such as how to change the colour of a plasma bolt? Many people already knew about this in mid 2003 when the HEK came out. And since there are plugins to edit [mgs2] tags, do you really think you're the only one who knows how to edit them?

There's no point in keeping a secret from the modding community, because you aren't helping the community, and it won't be long until someone who knows more than you explains how to do it.

my first comment here was that i liked the mod but the lightvolume trick was easy you were the one who tried to blow me out the water.
i am offering to help you learn more but as always seems all the new kids on the block dont want to listen to the older kids and when they slip they blame everyone but themselves.

Zero from what I can tell, you just blew a pretty harmless post way out of proportion. These guys know what they're talking about for the most part, and it would do you well to listen to them; despite how harsh their criticism might be. You can always take the good and ignore the bad. And the mod looks alright, but could use a lot of touch-up.
