ok so i kno a little about h2 occassionaly u play as an arbiter yes and his flashlight makes you invisible right... got that...

but its the online gameplay that plagues my mind....

so can you choose between playing as an elite online or playing as a spartan?

or is it something like after a number of awards?....

and can you play halo 2 vista cooperatively? because there was that idea with halo combat evolved. proof for HCE "effects/coop teleport" and coop starting profiles for campaign maps...
it never worked because they didn't set AI to sync online

dyu recon ai will sync closer on h2v than on hce or hpc???
however Halo 2 vista allows private voice chat kinda like xfire but i want it public like some of the up to date games.

will it support the funny powers of devmode?

and most importantly...(for me that is

)

does it support different types of melee?
for instance instead of snapping their head off over and over again with the top of your rifle ........ will it hit with the top of your rifle then slice accross their torso or something different???

If by public, you mean everyone in the game can hear you, then no (Assuming it keeps the Halo 2 Xbox options). There will be proximity chat, game chat (FFA games) and team chat (Team games).

Not everyone has a PC microphone/headset. Why would text chat be a bad thing?

I hate it because it is so distracting. After it starts to build up it can really disturb you.

yh and occasinally on on halo pc and ce they dissappear and u can't see what u type or any1 else types... I always hated that...

dyu reckon they'll add on new weapons like for hpc they added a flamethrower and fuel rod... what weapons are they adding this time if any?

I'm not too sure about that, but even if they don't you can always make your own.

dude its a PORT of halo2 for xbox, its going to have all of what halo2 on the xbox had...

Okay... here's all my thoughts poured into one post.

1. **** NO PUBLIC CHAT!?!? Damn it, bungie, get with the times!
2. H2V will have EVERYTHING (maybe not, maybe a few minor things like diff. shaders, textures, etc.) that H2 Xbox has. Alright!? Thank you.
3. If you look at the gameplay videos, you'll see that H2V WILL have ragdoll physics. W00t!
4. I am VERRRRRY glad that H2V will be able to sync maps over the internet, without you having to have the map itself. Then you can just see "oh that map looks cool, 'super_duper_awesome_mod_2' I don't have the map but it looks cool, let's join it" "wow this map is awesome"

With the online syncing, you can also have a scenario something like "well, I just made a map and am excited to play it, but it'll take hours for people to see it and download it halomaps.org, and I want to play it with people now! Oh right, they can enjoy the map without having it through server syncing-they don't even need to download it!"

5. H2V had better have text chat. Suppose your uber mic broke and you have no way to communicate with your teammates? Besides, some things can only be said over text-you can't say OMFG and sound cool with voice.

6. There might be new weapons-at least I hope there are. Bungie said there wouldn't be, but hey, they said you couldn't play with people on Xboxes, and now they're saying if you pay (or already pay for Xbox live) then you can play between platforms.

7. Bungie said you will not be able to play coop with people online. BUT, like that guy said earlier about the coop teleport and stuff in HPC, Bungie came close, and since maps can sync over the net, and they also lied about playing between PC and xbox, it's a possibility, and i would LOVE it. But, I highly doubt it.

8. You'll absolutely be able to play as an elite or spartan online. Yay!

And finally I doubt there'll be different melees but if there are that'll be cool.

you can absolutely, in no way, ever play Halo 2 cross platform online with Vista and Xbox. H2Vista Live users cannot play online w/ H2Xbox Live users. been said a million times in a million different places. Shadowrun is going to be the first game to have Vista/Xbox cross platform play. now H2 Vista will support cross-chat between vista and xbox. but that's all.
