To be quite honest, I'm sick of Call of Duty and I'm sick of modern warfare...there's already more than enough Tom Clancy games I can play if I want urban modern warfare.
Unless they do a lot of gameplay changes (I don't want to be playing Call of Duty 1/2/3 with different guns and environments), I don't think I'll buy it. On another note, yay for Xbox Live Marketplace demos.

Call of Duty 2 was fun. But i am sick of all of the modern combat games and ww2 game really...there is way to many. CoD was one of teh best but it should of stayed as ww2 and not modern, i will only buy it if it changed alot. i just don't want the same game as the other call of duty's just with modern weapons.

I'm actually extremely happy there's a new COD because for once it's not on WWII
some of you may not know this but including PC there have been like 5 COD games all on world war II.
I loved COD3 and i'll probably love this one.

i don't know if i've seen enough pacific representation in WWII games. i only remember two medal of honor games even touching on it.
also, this looks cool, but i'd be extremely dissapointed if there aren't any ragdoll physics. i agree with you guys that call of duty needs to change gameplay, because so far it's basically been the same since CoD 1, with minor tweaks at best (MGs, vehicles...)

ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

Actually it hasn't been just minor tweaks look at the jump from Cal of duty 2's multiplayer to call of duty 3's they're completely different..
But I'm sure this one will have some cool ragdoll effects, seeeing as they used it pretty well in call of duty 3.
People better go flying when i abrams tank thier ass. >_>

Maybe because of their involvement on building the games themselves, or the fact that Nazis are an easier target to hate in general with all the jew killing and frogmarching.[cc]z@nd! wrote:i don't know if i've seen enough pacific representation in WWII games
This game looks real fun. I'd pick it up in a heartbeat.
They've oversaturated the market with realistic shooters now it suxors... I'm also starting to dislike America is win. Sure they are in military power, but have some creativity, I wanna play as Russians fighting Americans in the Cold war or some strange Korea versus france...Screw realistic situations now >_<
But Fantasy esque and run and gun shooters FTW...
The only WWII FPS game that would be worth making is CnC red alert...But made by dev's who can make FPS games (unlike renegade)
On the actual topic of the trailer, they've got a really good engine, Love the flowing sand and rubble and also the rain and storm effects... but that doesn't mean I'm interested though...
