Im not a fan of the motion blur, but i think it looks quite nice. The background needs just a little bit more though, in my opinion.

I did it in one sitting, actually. My friend posted an interesting grunge tutorial, and I based it alittle off of that. It took me somewhere between 20-45 minutes- I have very bad time maintenance skills, obviously

The text needs some work, the background could be a bit better, but it looks very good. Keep it up.

Motion blur kills it. People add motion blur because they want to add a sense of movement and or flow in their signatures, it hardly ever works.

Huh, thats something I didn't really pickup on until now. If it makes you feel better, presume the light source is not only to the character's right, but also behind him.

Thank god. This is the first good GoW sig I have seen in a long time. Blur was a good idea, and was executed fairly well, but it just didn't work. Your text is different, but I quite like it. Different than the traditional microfonts all over the place.
