He just doesnt want people telling him what he should do with HIS map.....

the mod will be pretty good, but that is only if the gameplay is noteable. Don't want to see a good mod go to the dump because it didn't play well. Snaf does good work, but his personality is not exactly the friendliest.

we've done many tests on the gameplay and so far, it has been intense. nobody rushes out to the open anymore. you take cover behind walls and way for the other guy to empty his 30 round mag and hope that there are no snipers so you can pop out and take some well aimed shots.

this plays nothing like halo at all. even in alpha and beta stages, we've got almost nothing from halo.

This mod is not about personality...in fact, if we don't like you, we'll be complete assholes to you. snaf is quite friendly, just not to you. he doesn't like you if you didn't notice. do not mention anything about snafs attitude toward you again.

the whole point of the mod is game play...the models just make it look nice

Expect the first 2 maps to be out sometime this year...that's all i can give you. After that we're not sure, seeing as how the rest may be on h2v

Do that and you have my eternal hate, Vista suck's, the community has already lost to many people to it, like FireDragon04 and Doc Octavius, you can't release it there.

Is there going to be a beta, as I wouldn't mind testing it.

but will there be a dedicated server dedicated to modern combat?
(on ce i will not get vista unless my paretns decide this computer is too slo w*crosses fingers*)

Dedicated just to the map i don't know but i know masterz is going to host it on the cmt server or i'll kill his family. but it won't be the only map played. we'll see when the time comes, i don't exactly have the money to toss into a server every month.

Oh no, they're planning to move it to a better engine on a different OS that you don't like? How dare they!

Vista suck's, it's another money making scheme to get people to play H2v, which incidenaly won't suck.

But, after the general public complains as I have already they will probably make one for XP, which would have been a better place to put it in the first place.

90% of this mod will be on vista, so either buy a new computer, or enjoy the only 2 maps we put out for ce

I don't mind that it's on Vista, it's just people who make really good map's are actually forced to put them there, due to the high polygon's.

And I will enjoy the two that you release, can we stop the argument about Vista now.

RedRene you are an ignorant, ignorant fool....

Halo 2 Vista will never get ported to XP. It's impossible, all the features of Vista, IE: Live Play, aren't possible on XP and thats the only way to play H2V online..

And please, show where your getting your accusations of "vista sucks", without showing any kind of evidence that it does. So please, before trying to make an argument please show some kind of factual information about why it does suck, because I can tell you right now, Vista does not suck (maybe atm, since some of the features haven't been fully developed). RedRene, your just being overly biased to a new OS that is by far, greater than XP.

That, and by the time SP2 comes out Vista will live up to its acclaimed potential.
