Maybe a CE map making contest, with plenty of time to enter and work, and garunteed entries, so people dont back out at the last minute. It would be a good idea to have an active staff member to stay involved the whole length of the contest to ensure that the contest stays active.

Contest Name: Best Made Small/Medium CE Map Based Of Halo Wars
Contest Description: Best made Small/Medium map based of Halo War's(like in the trailer or images) with AI.
Rules:
1.Must have Halo 1 Weapons and Vehicles(No Halo 2)
2.Must have an edited Marine Biped and Spartan Biped(Maine/Marine, Spartan/Spartan).
3.Keeping it real, try to get some small features, like corpses, destroyed vehicles, crashed Pelican's, etc(no secret room's or things with credits on).
Contest Prize: Dunno, still need help deciding.

I think that the easiest contest would just be a simple modding contest. you mod a halo 2 map and whichever one the judge likes best wins.
