(Halo 1)HMT v3.5 - Here it is folks!
(Halo 1)HMT v3.5 - Here it is folks!
Hell has finally frozen over!
I present to you HMTv3.5 with perfect model injection, SP->MP conversion utilities, and a detailed tutorial covering both!
UPDATE
Although i've left the scene, there was a bug in HMT that was causing alot of problems and I felt the need to fix it.
The main issue resulting from this bug was collision/texture problems on rebuilt maps (ie, falling out of the map in certain spots)
BTW - You will need to re-extract the Single Player BSP so just redo that step.
If you are getting the "seek failed on unnamed file" in sparkedit, it isn't because of this bug. It is because you aren't following the tutorial exactly and are either (a) not copying one of the files near the end of the tut, or (b) not choosing the right files for one or more of the prompts that you get during the rebuild.
I know that it's a complicated process, but trust me - if you follow the tutorial 100% to the LETTER, it DOES work. Every single little step - no matter how unimportant it seems, must be followed exactly. And remember that no matter how complex the HMT3.5 process is, it's 10 times easier than the old way of doing it with a hex editor.

It needs to have the .dll s in the same folder with it. I suggest keeping all the files in the same folder, and right clicking on the icon, then select "create shortcut". The shortcut to HMT doesn't need to be with the dll files[EL]Krazie wrote:It won't work for me it says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). PS to anyone that still uses PC please note that the SDK is "software developer's kit" and DOESNT let u use .net programs. You need the actual framework

try downloading the HMT.v3.5.Release.rar and use it without the patched one.
1. Extract all contents of the rar at the bottom of first post to simple directory (i.e C:\HMT). It should have 24 files.
2. Try and use it. If it works, you can replace the .exe there with the patched one
Hope that helps.
Edit: I think the source is missing files that the program needs to run (i.e those 24 mentioned above).
