how can i change out the spartan for a elite. so i can play as one of em

u have to rebiuld the map with an elite.then swap everything in the cyborg part with elite.

nvm i just did it to both :S it worked that way now to see if people can join still

Edit- i cant pick up human weapons or drive human vehicles? how can i fix that - also when i swap weapons the Hud still shows spartan hands cant crouch ither.

Next time read a tutorial, to make the elite hold all weapons change their weapon I.D. to the plasma rifle in HMT, no i don't mean the meta, when you click on a weapon in the [weap] tag there should be Weapon I.D. there and then just check off plasma rifle or any other weapon an elite can hold. The vehicles are similiar, to drive a warthog, click on vehicles/warthog in the [vehi] tag, go to the bottom of the page and click on the drop down beside seat. Change all the seat names from W-driver and W-passenger to G-driver. For W-Gunner change it to GT-gunner or just put G-driver again. Do this to all vehicles seats(you don't need to change the banshee) and then you can get into all vehicles, while playing as an elite. This just makes the seats read like a ghost and since an elite can get into a ghost, you can then get into these vehicles. As for the elite arms rather than master chiefs arm's. those are a different model so you must swap those about. The no crouching may be because of the actv. To get elite arms and fix the crouching i suggest you get Knaves elite biped mod kit:

Which you can download there, comes with elite arms model, and a step by step tutorial on how to play as an elite and which dependencys you should swap and shouldn't swap.
Also included in the pack is colour changing elite shaders, but if you have Phenomena's 64 plugin pack:

You can easily change the colour without having to rebuild what you already have.(there's a tutorial somewhere on this forum, i suggest the search button)
