Your problem: Not Vista

Im able to run every modding application I've tried on Vista with the exception of UberScreenShot Tool perfectly.

Honestly I have no idea what could be causing them not to work. But I can assure you its not Vista fault.

Try re-installing the .net framework or try different builds of those apps that dont work for you.

Also if your computer has an option for a Windows XP compatibility mode for that program, set it (haven't really used Vista, so I'dn't know.

I ran entity, h2core, and h2guerilla successfully in vista. Then I put xp back. So, it's not completely vista. Although, it's not going to make your work an easier.

On XP, it's listed as microsoft .net framework. Shade45, if its listed on yours, let me know, because I'm ready to rip Vista off and throw it in the garbage.

Yes it shows up in my list.

That must mean you don't even have it installed.

just hit continue, it doesnt mess with the map at all. I still use entity even though i get that error. to get past it just restart entity and go to the ident viewer before you select a tag.
