How to change the press start menu picture (Halo 2 Xbox)

This is a Tut to change the press start menu picture for Halo 2 Xbox.

What you need:
1.Ch2r
2.DXTBmp
3.Microsoft Paint
4.Some what coloring skills

Here are the Downloads for Ch2r, DXTBmp, and Microsoft Paint you shuld already have.

First you shuld have the mainmenu.map in your computer's hdd
Open the map with Ch2r
Once you open the map go to ui>screens>game_shell>start_screen
On the right side of the program you shuld see the file start_screen.bitm.
Double click the file and a new window shuld open up.
Click the Bitmap on the left side of the new window, once you do that go to the drop down on the bottom of the window.
Then click on Old Bitmap Editor.
You should see the picture on the right hand side of the window, under it click Extract and extract it to a place you will remember (ex My Documents)
Now go to DXTBmp and open up the file you just extracted from the main menu.
There you click on File>Save as>24 bit BMP Image.
Now open Microsoft Paint and open the new file you just created.
This is where your some what coloring skills come into play.
Draw what ever you want to be on the Press Start menu instead of the Halo 2.
Once your done with that save it.
Then open it in DXTBmp and your image of what you want should appear.
Click on File>Save as>DSS Texture
From there under the save as type you click DSS DXT3, Save.
Now open your Ch2r, and open the mainmenu.map
Once you open the map go to ui>screens>game_shell>start_screen
Open the start_screen.bitm again
Click the Bitmap on the left side of the new window, once you do that go to the drop down on the bottom of the window.
Then click on Old Bitmap Editor.
You should see the picture on the right hand side of the window, under it click Inject.
Now you should choose the file you made.
Click Ok, close Ch2r, sign the map, ftp it to your xbox, and enjoy your new picture in the press start menu.

Uh, don't you mean where it says Halo 2 on the Mainmenu? Also I'm pretty sure you didn't make the Halo 2 Vista thing, iGeo and MrBalll did. Here is a link to the picture in there Mainmenu...

yea i dident do the vista thing but i made the colombian one using theirs as a base
