Help with Serenity

i have downloaded the Tokyo.serenity patch thing but i am unable to make the map load. i try to re-sign it after it is done but it won't let me? what am i doing wrong? thanks

thanks. i followed that and it is what i was doing before. but i get error failed to load the map. i am patching headlong with the Tokyo thing

hang on a minute. i forgot to patch the main menu. is that why it is broken? and also why can't i edit it in dotHalo after i patch it?

You have a clean headlong and you are patching with Serenity V3.2?
And you are FTPing the Output map after being resigned?

clean headlong map, just ftp'd off the dvd and am ftping it back on to the hard drive with all my other modded maps.

i think you have to hex the map and change the scenario to the scenario in the mainmenu im 94% sure thats the problem and you need to rename the map to what ever it is named in the mainmenu

exapmle my map in the mainmenu you would name it my_map.map in the halo 2/maps directory

and you need to rename or delete the autoupdate if you have it

ok, thanks. its all sorted now. one more quick question, i see all this stuff about adding maps to the main menu, does it really add a map? or replace one?

It adds one if you do it right, you can also add custom pics to them also.
