HMT 3
Well. I was playing around with HMT 3. Seeing hat it could do when I fiqured out how to make warthog gun shoot rockets and have it shoot rockets over and over none stop. It is so cool. Also I changed the explode time to right when the rocket came out it blew up. The Warthog just keeps blowing up!

I'm pretty sure the function "Trigger Lock" causes non-stop fire. What I don't get is why this function is even available, since you never actually find any weapons which will not cease firing. Maybe the Covenant use it or something.
Anyway, that's a cool idea. I'm gonna have to test that out.

im guessing the drop trigger lock is when you shoot say a covenant and kill him, the gun falls and starts shooting
i have just made a movie of this with every vehicle replaced with a warthog, it is total chaos

to make the drop trigger lock they probably needed to make the basic trigger lock function firstWhat I don't get is why this function is even available, since you never actually find any weapons which will not cease firing.

If you look at the /plugins/weap.xml, it gives some explanations for these...
Drop Trigger Lock ~ If your firing the weapon when you drop it, it will continue to fire (Until its out of ammo)
Trigger Lock ~ You press once to start shooting, press again to stop shooting...
Single Fire ~ Button has to be let go between each shot in order to fire again...(Semi auto as opposed to full auto)...

Im pretty sure the trigger lock function is used when a covenant dies but the gun keeps firing. This is necessary because technically, the gun is not being fired by a character in the game and needs to fire by itself. And the drop trigger lock turns it off after a second or whatever.FormerCide wrote:I'm pretty sure the function "Trigger Lock" causes non-stop fire.
