Completely Erasing Meta?

Post by blink 182 »

I was wondering if you can completely erase the meta of something instead of just swapping it. I need to erase the warthog windshield cuz im making turrets and the glass sticks up too. Any help?

if you erase it you will most likly get an exception
you could change the shader of the windshield to something clear like cryo glass

cryo glass is a bitmap though while the windshield is under shader glass.

Delete the Reflexive that points to the meta. Then the offset. Then it may work

no... a dependency is 8 bytes ahead of the tag within the meta. A reflexive is a whole different component. It is a pointer. For let's say Irons Offsets. They Values at the offsets are reflexives that point to the meta. There are also reflexives in meta. Delete them and u have deleted already apart of the object

no...

Edit - I guess I should help..

1. Go to the regular offset

2. If ur in PC u should see a 4 byte number that ends with *4*0

3. I dun know if this'll work but either change those 4 bytes to 0's or just delete the four bytes

4. I've never tried this but it'll prolly work
