Help with tool
Hey, i'm trying to use tool to turn bloodgulch.scenario to a map, so I go into command prompt and into halce driectory and type tool.exe build-cache-file levels\test\bloodgulch\bloodgulch and it does some text then says ./toolbeta.map not found, what's that mean!?

Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
This line pops up no matter which command you use in tool. You can just type "tool" and it will bring the error up. It's some useless bug that doesn't mean anything...Your map should have compiled regardless of the error
Check your map files to make sure that wasn't the only error you got. Also back up your original bloodgulch.map to some folder and delete the one in your maps folder before you build the cache. It probably overwrites it anyway, but that's what I do.
So basically if your bloodgulch that you made didn't convert to a map file when you entered the command (which was right btw ;D d/w about that) it means theres some other error with your .scenario file. Just check and tell me what you get

To get rid of the error's:
Just create a folder in your Halo CE root directory that is title "toolbeta" or "sapien beta" or "guerillabeta". To get rid of all 3 just make 3 .map files.
So
toolbeta.map
sapien.map
guerilla.map
Code: Select all
toolbeta
sapienbeta
guerillabeta
So
toolbeta.map
sapien.map
guerilla.map
