To be honest it looks really bad. Unless your piece has nice quality dont make it that big. The big planets quality is horrible and it doesnt really make sense that the bottom of it is all lit up when theres no light source under it. The stars and the northern lights need work, and you really need to fix the pixelation(word?) on almost all the edges.
NSN made the terragen render, the person on the terragen render, and the planet on the very top. Xiion made the rest of it and meshed it together, sharpening them, etc.SHOUTrvb wrote:The Northern Lights look like vomit, and how the heck are those 3 planets so close? Nothing in the image makes sense. And why is everything so sharp? Spill it, which one of you made the lights?

how is that foolish?SHOUTrvb wrote:Foolishness on both parts? Interesting.Alexander wrote:NSN made the terragen render, the person on the terragen render, and the planet on the very top. Xiion made the rest of it and meshed it together, sharpening them, etc.
for the sharpening method, i tryed maca's tutorial he made for me...
not like you asked or anything, but it would be nice for people to know these things.
I understand what method you were going for. I was saying the method doesn't function well with the image. Maybe this is exactly the outcome you were going for, but by posting it here, you made it eligible for public opinion. 7/12% of the public opinion don't like the method. That is why it was foolish. Aside from that, the image simply makes no sense. I consider myself a very abstract thinker and I still can't see what's going on. Which is not what an artist should want.Xiion wrote:how is that foolish?

@NSN: I'm all for learning experience, but I think you know more that what you've shown in this image.
