Help with remodeling

Hi all. I'm new here.

Anyone know a tut for remodeling in Halo Pc. When I remodel and try to inject hmt crashes. I know its not hmt because it lets me reinject a expoted obj that i don't remodel. I'm using 3dsmax and saving model as a wavefront obj. Even if I don't remodel, just importing into 3dsmax and exporting it as obj, I still have the problem.

Any Ideas?
