Yes. You might have make entity show all values(tools, show... , show invisibles) and it is almost exactly in the middle of the scrollbar.

Thanks a million man! It didnt work on dune, but after I nulled out the lsnd's, it worked fine on Beaver Creek. Everything's going good now. I'm glad someone finally helped me. You deserve green smilie! :mrgreen:

I updated the app and fixed some sound, memory, and decompiling problems. I also fixed the problem with ADI thanks to swamp fox. Check out Vicis

I dont know if this has been said yet but when i get my map converted to have the new BSP in it and i look in entity i find that about half the tags arent there compared to a normal map. Does anyone know why this is or what i should do about it?

BTW the maps wont load on my xbox it just freezes it.

Ok, after useing really really fresh maps !!!!! , new coreupdate and jelles tut from vicis, i made a conversion that never worked for me before.

deltatowers bsp 03 ..its works perfect now.....

Thx a lot guys...

and by the way....my pc is not the best, but i did it under 30 minutes!!

So I was making a serenity patch and in the middle of patching it had a bunch of errors, all involving 'Removing tags is not yet supported.' Now, I hit 'OK' for all of these errors and patching finished fine (after six minutes and twenty-two seconds) and everything, but I'm wondering if maybe my patch might end up messed up or not? Or will it just patch the original map (gemini) and add all the new tags for my new BSP and leave the old tags from gemini unlinked (and taking up valueable space)? Uh, just noticed this, but serenity also left a folder where my patch was called 'Textures' that had a bunch of .DDS files in it.

Also, my BSP compiled fine and everything and it works fine in Entity 1.6 (No broken idents/works in BSP viewer), but I heven't tested it on my Xbox yet. Is there anything important I should null (the lsnds?) before testing? Also, I've only changed a few objective/player spawns, nothing else.

Any answers would be 'super-helpful.' o_O

I converted my map, scenarios\solo\06a_sentinentalwalls\sentinentalhq_2 successfully into beaver creek but theres a bit of a problem. There is a single corrupt bitmap and I have no idea on how to find which bitmap it is exactly and if I did know I would have no idea on how to go about fixing it

Make sure to have a clean Shared.map on your Xbox as well as on your computer when rebuilding the map.

YES...make sure u have absolutly clean maps.....i got the same and now with fresh ***** it works fine :wink:

I fixed it, it was either something with my shared.map on my xbox or it was because I moved some scenery around. Im not sure which but I had previously sent an earlier version to a friend(without scenery moved) and the bitmaps were perfect for him. So I think im good now.

Update on app doesnt fix corruption of bsp in entity. Matter of fact it still fly's lightspeed and rebuilds under 45 seconds.

well i had a go at this using beaver creek and delta approach, everything went fine apparently(no errors) but it fails to load and every app except entity 1.4(havent tried other versions) tell me its not a halo 2 map :?

when i rebuild my map it always gives me and error on
Processing C:\Tags\H2\sound\sound_mix.sound_mix...

Ah, so much better.

It doesn't take me five minutes to open up a map and it extracted the sbsp in 2 minutes, compared to the five hours with no results.

Except now I have the rebuilder just sitting for hours. It got caught on the sound_mix...

I'm a little confused by the mixed feedback on these forums. Also responses, like i get this error and no explanation of the map you are converting doesn't help me either.


1. Check settings in H2G and H2Core and make sure your tag paths are the same and the map paths are the same.
2. Go get the newest version on vicis. I just released an update.
3. Try moving the new halomap.dll into the h2g directory.
4. PM me with your aim name and a detailed explanation with map names and steps taken.

GIR, you gotta click noncompliant in serenity to use it to make a patch. Also I wouldnt null out the lsnd until you checked in game and it didnt work.
