problem after ftping maps won't load maps + other maps

Post by blahx32 »

Ok so this has just recently happened i've been able to get maps correctly onto my game but now with two maps one an sppf and another a serenity it keeps messing up and saying that I failed to load the map and after that it messes up the rest of my map files and says that I failed to the load those maps too. Even on a different Halo 2 file on my hdd it was affected by those maps messing up on my other H2 file on the hdd. Does anyone know what the problem is?

did you resign them by any chance? i dont know why it would mess up the maps on your hdd though unless your loading the maps you patched off your hdd (like the new maps)

Make sure you have a clean Shared.map in your map directory.

And clear you xbox's cache (X, Y, and Z partitions)
Sometimes they be become currupt after loading a currupt map.
A good way to fix the cached maps is to load a MP map directly from the Halo 2 CD.

are you applying the sppf and serenity or just putting them in your maps folder, also clear your cache like sandwich man said.
