Hey.. Usually when I want to play against someone full screen, i go on xbconnect.. and wait till the guy joins in my system link game.. and then kick him, start game.. and my xbox still thinks the person is in there (even though he isnt, its just basically a fake box).. and i start the game.. and its basically just no one is in there, but my 'opponent', even though no one is controlling him, and i can just do whatever.
This would be awesome for AI Bots, and those who want to play Halo Full Screen on multiplayer when they are alone.
Im pretty sure this would be possible, to have a program or something, to trick your xbox into thinkin someone joined your system link game, sorta like xbc.
What do you guys think?

i can do it
all you have to do is capture the packets being sent using (a packet sniffer ) and you can see what needs to be injected to the ip of the xbox then write a simple program that uses winpcap to inject the right packets to the detected xbox ip (in theory) botservers could be made this way using ip spo0fing (seperate ip addresses broadcasting and recieving the same as a xbox across town)
and to just do it simply you could monitor the network when it happens and retransmit those packets using a packet sniffer if u look up about wardriving with 802.11 wireless youll find plenty of programs that monitor/inject packets on a local network as well

Yeah i've been thinking about making something like that lately. It would be complex to acutally emulate another player through a program on the computer. I'm sure it couldn't be that hard to spoof another xbox by sending packets.
A while back when i was messing with this stuff, I made a program to search for an xbox on a network basically the same way that xbox connect does it.
Basically, if someone would like to make a joint effort to try to make a program that spoofs an xbox, I would be interested.
