Serenity now!

Post by wsox08 »

All right,

I've researched this for a while, but I haven't found any actual answers. I've been trying to use Serenity v3.2. Whenever I try to Apply Patch, Serenity automatically quits. I have the latest .NET framework versions (both 2.0 and 3.0) and I'm positive the patches aren't bad. I've used the same Serenity download as many others, so I'm guessing that's not the problem either.

This link shows a picture of the error message -

Can somebody please tell me how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Funny, I'm having that exact problem. Does yours occur when the patching is almost done, or when it is just starting?

I tried doing that, but still no luck. Any other suggestions?

One thing that you can do is try to install Serenity 3.1, if you can find a download for it.

As a last resort you could try using the super ppf patches. Of course, as long as the maker made a sppf. Just another way around it. Also, try downloading the .NET Framework 1.1. That probably isn't the problem but I have 1.1 and 2.0 and everything works for me.

Yeah, I've tried it with .NET 1.1 and also Serenity 3.1, 3.0, and 2.02. Guess I'll just stick to SPPFs and PPFs.

Still, let me know if anyone can come up with what's wrong.
