So is Rock, Funk, Rap, Hip-Hip, etc.fishface617 wrote:Yea, its noise.
There has always be disputes to what type of music is which. For example, Led Zeppelin was considered a metal band in the early 60s/70s but now most see them as Classic Rock. Musical generes aren't set in stone. Not by a longshot.

I love hardcore now. I just went to a show last night with my friends, it was awesome.
There was a lot of straight-edgers though, so it was pretty violent. The mosh pit was so stupid, they stood in one spot swinging their arms in stupid circles and flinging their legs like retarded children around. There was this one guy who wrapped his arms around my stomach and pulled me out into the mosh pit, so I shoved him back and went to go back with my friends and he punched me in the back of the head...
Anger issues. Then, there was this other guy who dove into the front crowd, so I grabbed his head and pushed him out back into the pit, and he came back and was about to punch me in the face until someone grabbed his face and pulled it back and the bouncer pushed him out.
I like the music, but some of the fans are ridiculously violent.... Oh well, makes for a fun show.

It was just some local bands. I only remember one band's name and it was Clifton.
I didn't know they were dancing, I thought they were just trying to hit people; swinging their fists around like rabid apes XD
It was an awesome show though, my friend accidentally punched me and elbowed me in the face :\ I almost got in to a few fights with stupid straight edge kids. I swear I think straight edgers are the only people I have a problem with, I don't mind the whole no drugs thing, but the ones who think violence is any better, and bring knifes to shows to attack people who do drugs at shows (has happened a lot around here), and are just all around assholes to people; are the ones me and my friends hate, so we just kinda... punch them/elbow in the face during the show on "accident".
