did you know if a file name is too long itunes wont import the file. seriously i had a video with a really long name and i draged it too my ipod and it said. "this file cant be played on this ipod". and after about 2 hours of fucking trouble shoooting and converting hte video using 3 differnet .mp4 and .mov codecs, i changed the name too "work you fuxing video" and i draged it too itunes and.... a window poped up and said "work you fuxing video" procesing and then "updating ipod"
god dam you itunes you wasted 2 hours of my weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I doubt that's the real reason why it wouldn't import. If a long song name goes past the screen, the iPod can just scroll through the name. So I don't see why a very long name would be any different from a name that just goes off the screen.
inferno wrote:no it was the name. trust me i spent 2 hours... anyway. heres the name "Not Another Teen Movie DVDRip (exellent quality) A popular boy accepts a bet to turn a girl into prom queen; hilarious spoof of all teen movies, NOT suitable for young childr" the rest got cut off after the 1st conversion i did too the video
So you've just admitted to downloading a DVDRip. Nice.
