New maps over system link...

I can't get the new maps to load over system link (XBC). I've got the maps placed in /E/Games/Halo 2/maps/, and the mainmenu is patched. I've tried disabling AU, which didn't help. I've also removed the map folders from \E\TDATA\4d530064.

I can play the maps fine over split screen, but on system link, I fail to load. Any ideas?

Most people have the new maps installed in there TData folder. That is the DLC folder. So your game is loading from the maps folder while there's is loading from the DLC folder. The maps are located in different map slots according to the main menu although you won't see the difference ingame.

So there's no way to do it without the disc? If asking this is against the rules, just ignore this question.

You could download the maps off of xbox live.

And I got it working without buying the cd or downloading anyway.

Well the only other way you have those maps is by downloading them from some unofficial host, which would be illegal. So Unless you get them from xbox live or the multiplayer disc then you won't find anymore help here.

So how did you fix the system link problem? I have a similar problem with the new maps, I add the new maps to the main menu but when I go on system link it fails to load.
