Dead 360 HDD

Post by Geo »

Basically, I accidentally deleted an important partition from a 360 HDD.

It honestly was accidental, I double clicked a partition by mistake, moving the mouse at the same time, and it started copying the partition. Naturally I clicked cancel, to find the partition LOLGONE.

Help. And don't say System Tab > Memory > Format... the 360 doesn't detect it... but ghey Xplorer does.

Can you copy another 360 HD's information onto yours? A direct clone that includes all the formatting, etc?

Wouldnt that fuck it up kirk? I think the 360's hdd is signed to itself, using another hdd's stuff may also fuck it up...

But alas! I'm no GEEnius in this situation, its worht a shot iGuess, but check around in places like xbox-scene and the like for better answers.

I tried copying another HDD's image onto it, and it's still not detectable. I thought maybe a blank HDD image might work, but getting one is a lot harder then you'd think :(

I'm not completely sure, But I think I saw an article on Xbox-Scene about how to fix this. It could have been a different site, I'm not sure. Hopefully you can fix it. If not wait until the 120GB comes out and buy that.

Hell, I have no clue. Just wondering... apparently it doesn't work though.

Hang on! I swear I gave you a program that formats any sata hdd to the 360's...You can currently only format it to have 20gb read until a new one comes out...Try that...If you lost it....find it yourself
