Tree's don't effect gameplay more than they aesthetically please the eye. I'm sure they are allowed. It's so weird how tree's are pleasing to see in maps all the time. It's like, trees are the first thing to pop into somebody's head when making a map skin or mod. Anyways, sorry for the rambling, ya i'm sure tree's are allowed. Just don't make them the feature of your mod or I for one can guarantee the mod won't go very far.

Yes. Though I'm not ScottyGEE, I am certain that I can answer this question. You can add anything to visually enhance or alter the map, but nothing (except for trees and other small objects) that alters how the map is played. This means you are unable to use projectile swaps, player-enhancing or inhibiting mods (ie superjump, increased gravity, etc.) and the like. In other words, Burial Mounds should still be burial mounds and it should still play like burial mounds; however, it should not look like the burial mounds that we all know.
