How to make vehicles fly. + Mod ideas

Ok, for blood gulch, i want to make the gun turrets fly. I tried changing the turret physics in hex to banshee physics, and it didnt work. Any help on how to make them fly?


AND

Any mod ideas? something simple though.

ever heard of dragonball Z?
i had an idea where all the weapons were energy based (easy) with blasts n such, and the speed for the player is really fast (everything would be fast) 400% shields, infinte grenades etc. . I just started hex editing and i had lots of fun with an assault rifle shooting plasma cannon rounds :twisted: .

making the MC's speed going fast might be hard, (and maybe some gravity reduction) i havent tinkered with speed yet but i will.

and about making ur vehicles flying... i havent tried this yet but you should try swapping the banshee value with.. lets say, a ghosts value (in hex editing).
dont blame me if this dosent work :?


**EDIT** response to jce108: ehhhh cmon i was gonna do that too! lol. ok cool thanks, but i want the assault rifle to have the wraith mortar blasts :twisted: i dont know how to inject stuff :x...

you cannot make vehicles fly by hex editing, you need to do meta modifying, or HMT 3 (doesn't work for me, so i don't know if it does)

Turret flying has been done via hexing on Xbox/PC singleplayer. If you can figure out how to do it for SP, it shouldn't be too hard to do it for MP. However, Gearbox DID modify the turrets so that they don't move in PC multiplayer (grenades, smacking, rockets, etc. have no effect) so that might be another problem.

someone should figure just how to make the turrets move from explosions and what not.
