team forcing

Post by turk645 »

Is there a way to force everyone to be on the same team always. Im sick of people joining a fun mod game and just killing instead of enjoying themselves and want to force them to be on the same team as everyone else and have no friendly fire damage.

Sounds like kissing up... Anyways, this is a shot in the dark but you could try nulling out all the other teams besides red team or whatever team you want. Althoug I'm not sure how that would work considering the problem with picking teams in the main menu...

Yeah, but they can still change their teams in the pregame lobby. The "Team Changing Off" option only works in game.

To be honest, I don't know if that would be possible. You could always make it so that MC and Elites are Invincible. :o

But people could still join and be on a different team and kill... Anyways, I am pretty sure there would be something you would need to edit in the Main Menu in the [matg] or [mulg] tags.

that would be bad because if you fall off the map then you are screwed. This is for ascention or gemini by the way.

I dont think its possible through editing a map file, maybe through the xbe. But I amagine any changes would only work for the host.

It's a first person shooter, not a first person kisser.

If people kill when you don't want them to, boot them. 8)
