1st person models

Whats the importance of seperate first person models, why can you not just assign one model to first and third?

because thats how halo2 reads the modles and we cant really change that

well, not really, if u do that the game freezes, or the fp modle just wont be there

Actually, you can use the same model for 1st person and 3rd person. I believe you just swap the [mode] dependancies and loneid's in the [weap] tag.

that usually dosent work, ive tried with the h1 pistol and if u dont have it right itll screw up

It does work. You can use the FP model as 3rd person and first person.
