[WIP] Goldeneye Facility
All collision planes are done on necessary surface, and their is only one small bug that I'm working on. MC always falls through and get stuck on this one step, no matter how I seem to adjust it.....It's pissing me off.
Oh, and something really cool. Using cheat engine, sapien, and halo, I figured out how to force halo to display the level without running any radiosity whatsoever. It basically forces "rasterizer_mode"(a value which normally can be changed in sapien but not in halo) to be at 2. Basically, this saves me the time it takes to run a radiosity for 5 minutes(by that I mean for a few seconds, and wait 5 minutes for radiosity_save to finish). The downside is it isn't the best for testing textures; bump maps, reflections, etc do not show up in that mode.

And I fixed my stair error. I deleted the collision plane, and made it from scratch again. It looked the exact same as before, but it works now. I had tried everything else. I made the steps in question render only, so the only collideable part was the plane, but the error didn't go away.

-make a few more textures
-add glass
-assorted touchup

I'm not going to have time to make them myself(I don't have much experience). With the exception of the moonraker, I'm going to have to 'recruit'(beg?) other people to make them, or use freely available tags.SnaFuBAR wrote:got custom weapons for this map?

in my random dam map i made i had the same problem at one spot. when i figure out why it's doing it i'll let ya know. as for the no damage thing, bsp blocks grenade explosions, so if you're behind or below something usually you won't get hurt. as for weapons, if i get some time i could make some for ya, i already have an akm done i was gunna give to ds8 but he already released his mod so you can have it.-Laser- wrote:All collision planes are done on necessary surface, and their is only one small bug that I'm working on.
