One thing I might note: Acers have quite a high return rate.
When I worked at Circuit City, I would see about 5/10 Acers be returned. (I know that's 1/2, but you get the point.)
Some seem to work brilliantly, when others just poop out. Since it's an online purchase, you may want to consider a notebook that will last you a while.
I've always been a fan of HP's new laptops, and Macs are decent notebooks as well.
Depending on what you want to do however, I would saw the Fujitsu.

I hope that wink means you're joking. I really, really do. For those that really believe that you can only use 1 mouse button on Macs:ScottyGEE wrote:[...]itll just be a slight learning curve if you've been using windows all your life (ONE MOUSE BUTTON!!!!)
-ANY USB mouse works
-Tapping the touchpad with two fingers is recognized as a right click, if I'm not mistaken.

What do you need it for? My dad picked up a $400 Toshiba that's got a 15.4 Widescreen (nice size, pretty, 1200x800) and 512MBs of RAM and a Core processor. Performs great, works well in Photoshop, great battery life and settings, and best of all it was cheap.
Don't spend more money than you need to.

Also the new laptops come with two buttons for the trackpad, so you'll have two buttons even if you decide not to use a mouse. Personally, I'd go for the mac, if you have that much money. If you don't, however, Dell laptops are pretty reliable.shadowkhas wrote:I hope that wink means you're joking. I really, really do. Your sig can't exceed 500x120 and 75kb in file size.

If I use all capitals and a winking sign it generally means I'm being an ass or making a parody...So of course I was joking, you silly defensive mac usershadowkhas wrote:I hope that wink means you're joking. True, and plus, with my experiences, they are very efficient if something goes wrong...They've replaced our broken parts very quickly (We tell them 2 days later we have the new part and they take the brokeded one)auerhantheman1 wrote:Dell laptops are pretty reliable
