If you ever release this I would do anything for you. I mean anything except having in any way s3xual contact. This opens up the doors more than ever before, Zoned AI mods, HUGE and awesome MP maps. This is what the whole community has been waiting for, please release it

Reminds me of Half Life for the Dreamcast.... 2 weeks before launch it was cancled and never heard of again for the console...

i find it hard to decide who is the worse here.

the developers or the immature assholes who have no patenice

cause as bad as it is to harrass someone for something it is just as bad if not worse to stop those who did nothing from using the greatest tool ever written

EDIT: the developers are worst because i imagine that the people who harrassed them wouldnt be good enough modders to make much use of the app!!!

Because I have the first french modding website with a forum, and i told to them that your app was coming.

I think this way th eonly thing is going to happen is that a lot of people is going to stop modding, i have just "rebuild" a french community wich died for those kind of people who hacked and flooded and harssed me on my website and my members a year ago.

So i had to restart all over again, but you, no, so why do you want to stop?

If somone tried to hack you, that mean they wanted this app or they are jealous so, yes, now what do you want? to be famous or to give your knowledge to the community?

Punish those who harssed and hacked you?

One more time, halo 3 is coming out, so that way you are just stopping the evolution of the community and the mods.

I know you want a sort of revenge, no? beacause it's a revenge to do not release the app to respond to hackers and people who harssed you.

Anyway i think that one more time, so near of what i was waiting for, the community deceptioned me and i think this is going to make me want to stop modding earlyer than i was thinking when you showed those bsp conversion pictures...

You may say that many people on this community are immature, revenge is immature...and is what you are doing.

Anyway I would like to know the name of the app developpers.

Ya exept these guys quit at the finish line, we feel your pain about those immature people that did all that to you but choosing to quit because of there words or actions is an even more immature action.

Many game programing teams have had much greater obsticles than flamers or hackers. I'll name one of the top of my head...oh yah...BUNGIE.

I agree that quitting will only make you look defeated in the eyes of those that abused/hacked you, but I also respect that it's your descision, so do what you think to be right. I wish you better luck in the future with whatever you chose to do next.

Zerocool was stolen from a movie, "hackers", there are thousands of "zerocool" account out there, and millions of johndoe accounts...

or will you make mods with your teams program?

Either way I must say you did a lot of amazing things, and it sucks that a few people ruined it. Anyways I hope in the future you and your team will continue to make sweet apps, and hopefully those few people won't harrass you again. I was looking foreward to this, but now that it won't come out I guess I can still look foreward to any mods you might make with it.
I remember your VB tutorial , that was a great thing and if it wasn't released I would have never looked into programing, I really hope you reconsider. But it is your app and your desition.

Just one simple question, did this application work with TheGhosts blue streak tag importer for 3ds max, how you could import the raw biped tag, weapon tags and much more as a model in max with bones and nodes?

Hey, Dootuz spelled correctly(except for one mistake)

but yeah, it's a shame that the actions of a few people would stop you from releasing this incredible app. I don't mod Halo 2, or even have an Xbox, but I know that a lot of people would have been extremely grateful if you had released this program, and it probably would have revolutionized Halo 2 modding, bringing it to the time when the Outstanding and Elite sections were active, which I came too late to see, but oh well. I respect your decision, but I respectfully urge you to reconsider, and maybe at least release the mods.

It's very sad that people are going to be "A" holes to others. Especially those who are making great applications... And this isn't the first time.

Oh well it's your decision and I hope it will change, if it does maybe I'll get more into modding again... Sigh.
