question about cache files

question about cache files

alright i have changed my maps before by deleting the cache files and replacing the 03 one with a new one but now when i ftp to my xbox and go to the Y: where my cache files are nothing is there now i have tried refreshing the folder and everything and i cant get any of the files to show in that folder anyone had this problem?

you gotta start halo back up...

when you start it up.. you'll see the loading screen

and thats when its putting the cache files back on your Y:

I hate damn FTPing. i can never get it to work right. I use the halo cache editor7 because it runs ON your xbox and no FTPing and still no complaints.

if not showing up, u have to refresh ur dir from ur ftp proggie. I dont know what prog u are using, but i've always used flas fxp. Lately tho i have moved to staff fxp(free) which i like more..

Sometimes it changes it to different drives because if you play other games before halo that save info on X,Y,Z. Check all those drives for halo and remember to edit a map you have to play it first then reboot your xbox for it in order to save it to a cache file.
