Better way to make wires: Make a spline, then flesh it out however you are supposed to, I forget how to do it exactly.

After your done you might be able to make it actually work on Halo. I don't think anyone has made an auto-turret before, and it'd probably take a lot of time and work, but all the people here are always in the front line of modding. :)

with 8000-10000? the warthog only has like 5000, wait nvm im tihnking of weapons... ya i guess you could, but i dk the limit on polly count for a vehicle. well pretty nice i like it. much better than i could do even in 3ds max :P

i hope you get this model into halo as an extra thing sitting around or something to look cool in the bg, unless you could get it to move with animation like a vehicle then your mod will be outstanding :P

Pelican was 9,000+ last time I checked, and the Hog's body is 5,000-ish. Add the wheels and the gun, plus riders...
