Tripod Sketch (WARNING: LARGE FILES)

Ok... this might not be fit enough for The Gallery, but just wanted to show you guys, see what you think, 'caus my art teacher is a fuck

anyone who's seen war of the worlds (not an amazing film but hey, the tripods were cool :p) ...

The tripods rock, along with your drawing. Looks a little weird on the bottom becuase of the way you drew it with the legs spread apart and no ground, but still sick.

i dunno, i thought the movie kicked ass. depicted what felt like a post-apocalyptic world very well, and the atmosphere it had is exactly what i'd picture were the events to happen. (the large board with pictures of missing people, etc.)

anyways, that's a pretty good sketch, i really like it!

Wow. It's official; everyone on this forum can draw a thousand times better than I can. That's amazing, I wish I could draw like that. Those tripods are terrifying too; the sound they make is so chilling.

Your art teacher is probably mad because it doesn't have any naked ladies. That is amazing. I used to draw Halo characters every day last year, but I didn't do it over the summer (of course! It is an in-class sort of thing) and this year I can't even draw a Grunt head.

Here it is. It won't be that creepy without the video; but believe me, in a loud movie theater, it was terrifying.

It's a shame the lead reflected the light of whatever you used to get this on your computer. A good chunk of it is lost. The squiggle around the top looks a little weird, and one of the tentacle things looks like a vacuum, but otherwise I like it.

Nice find; I couldn't find a video of it (I was looking for the scene in the beginning where it emerges).
