anyone have the ps3?

do you guys think i should trade in my ps3 for

a good graphics card for my pc (cause i only have an onboard)
a year of xbox live
gears of war
new speakers probibly surround sound
and some other stuff that will waste the other money

I would say yeah...PS3 doesn't really have any super amazing exclusives except like...Metal Gear Solid.

I played the ps3 at the Sony store it was a lot fo fun, but not worth the money. And besides, I still prefer my xbox.

Sell it on EBay you can get up to $1,500 on there. I say yes, the PC is the ultimate gaming platform. No console can beat it.

I'd say you're wrong. PC is good, but you constantly have to upgrade it, and it's ver expensive to have a good one. More power to you if you can do both. I'd honestly trade it for the Wii, nintynine. I just got mine for Christmas, and it's the most fun I've had a on a videogames console since Zelda for the snes. Funny enough, I got Zelda for the Wii too.

I know it's really hard to get, but wait a little while and they have them in stock. Wii>Ps3 in nearly every way, except for the fact it can only go up to 480p.

You might want to look again. The prices have dropped dramatically.
We were going to buy one to sell on eBay, but I called my Dad and had him check before we went ahead and did it.

He reported back that they're only going for ~$700 (the 60 gig) and that includes a controller and/or a game.
I was quite disappointed, I wanted to make a profit off of Sony. ;x

Even though I wanna see it fail personally... I say just wait a bit...It seems apparent that Sony's launch strategy was fairly poor with the whole idea that "we'll sell out on pure demand alone", but its onlybeen out for a few months...Hell its not even out in Australia yet...The 360 didn't have an awfully good start and its dominating now...Soon enough Sony and the ps3 will try real hard to fight back...My reccomendation would be to keep it.

However, if you actually don't like it, perhaps get a wii, which is supposedly great fun (I wouldn't because it sounds like a novelty more than anything). But yeah just coz we don't have it doesn't mean yoy have to get rid of it...coz that's almost how I see what you're doing ninety nine...

I'd also say, don't bother upgrading a pc...PC for gaming is SHIT!!!!!! I prefer consoles by far.

I never played it. The one at Best Buy was broke the day they were released. Sony is trying to pass off that they were engineered to do that...

I really must say that I have lost a lot of my respect for Sony, especially after the whole rootkit incident. About two years ago, my PS2 broke giving me disc reading errors whenever I put a disc in it. There's already been reports of the PS3 doing the same.

I did snag a 20GB PS3 though and sold it on eBay for $900. Never played it though.

Yea it just normaly freezes....Gears of war alwase has to cut out in the middle of ranked matches......
