Ski or Snowboard?

Post by JK-47 »

It's that time of the season, and I just went on my first trip of the season. The place I went to opened up a new kickass slope :)

Anyways, do you snowboard or ski? And please don't do it in a fasion sence like "Omg anyone who skis is a fhag and is a rich cracker" Because I'll kill you.
Honestly, I like both. I mean, I havn't snowboarded yet, but I've been around snowboarders long enough to know the difference, plus I wakeboard so yeah.

Skis are just a lot of fun and are easyer to control, so I can do a lot more difficult slopes, but doing tricks is extremely difficult.
Snowboards are easyer to plow through powder and have a lot more available things you can do.

So next time I go I'm trying out snowboarding, cause I'm not a person who likes to stick in thier own comfort zone with one thing :)

I hope your not saying that cause it doesn't look cool (jk patrick :))

Skiing is awesome fun, but snowboards are more open to tricks, I felt left out when my friends were going down this hill and pulling off 360's and 180's, cause I'd probably land wierd and split my legs off my body :O

I did not want to come home, life is so much better than a stupid computer.

Skiing.

I hate most snowboarders because of how they acted on the last mountian I went to. (Sitting in the trail, scraping the snow off, ect.)

Pro snowboarders are cool in my book.

I snowboard and love it, so snowboarding gets my vote. However, my vote is biased since I've never gone skiing before.

Seriously thinking about sigging that because it is insanely true. Unfortunately, I live in an area where there are only 2 mountains that get enough snow for either, and both of those two are tiny. But I did go skiing a couple times when I lived in Colorado, and I've never been snowboarding so skiing gets my vote.

Around my area we dont really get enough snow to go snowboarding anymore, but I only ever snowboarded so that gets my vote.

Snowboarding is definately harder than skiing but worth practicing. You can do many tricks with it and stuff.
You can't do as much with skiing but it's awesome too.

I'd prefer to cruise the snow in style.
I've never skied, but I've tried snowboarding once on one of those cheap plastic boards - but that was years ago.

Lol yeah, I still have mine
I'm pretty sure Snowboarding will just come to me, I can wakeboard pretty good, and sometimes I skateboard when i'm board (uhrurh skateboard when i'm board)
But I know it's not going to be that easy even if it does just come to me.

It doesn't matter. Either way, you end up on your ass.

I say Skiing. The Control and speed is unmatched by a board. (and Yes, I've tried both.)
