I like how the Brutes seem more menacing now with that new armor. Before they just appeared like giant monkeys.

Also, those are some mighty fine new animations, especially the one where the Brute flips the Warthog.

I liked the dismemberment parts. I'm curious to see them ingame...although the game just won't feel the same not fighting Elites for atleast SOME portion.

I wonder what that 4th grenade icon is...I think it's safe to assume it's Frag-Plasma-Spike-?

That's awesome. And at 6:10 you can clearly see that it's the Halo 2 shotgun rather than the Halo 1 shotgun.

And that brute rifle one of the high ranking ones were using...It looked like the h2 plasma turret (the one where you have to kneel to use it)...but without the bottom part.

Wow, that looks awesome. The Brutes will definetly play a big role in the game now. Looks like there spending more time on it than anything else. To bad they won't be playable for MP. I like the three ranks there are for them. I actually don't like how the spiker weapon shoots it looks some what horrible but than again they haven't actually gave detailed bitmaps, effects, etc. I can't wait for Halo 3.

Now the animations they were something else. I love the brute smashing the shit out of the marine, and when it tore a part a marines arms now that's fucking insane.

Why would you want to play as a Brute? They're big and clunky and would just be a horrible character model to play as.

As for the Spiker...I know you said it, but it's obviously a placeholder projectile...so why even bring it up?

Yeah, playing as a Brute in MP would be very unbalanced, no need to worry though Stalking, this is HaloMods... you'll get to play as a Brute at some point.

Et Tu - And you/you too?

Et Tu was used in the book "Julius Caesar" by William Shakespear. Caesar's loyal friend Brutus decided to join a group of conspirators (a group of people against a leader), lead by Cassius to kill Caesar.
When they made thier move to kill Caesar, Caesar's last words were "Et Tu Brutus?". Hence Julius' friends name "Brutus, (Brute).

There are a lot of events in the book Julius Caesar that would fit into Halo 3 (like a mass betrayal, maybe Elites, Grunts, Jackals, and Hunters betray the Covenant? Or maybe Cortana betrays the Cheif? Dunno)
