Oh, but you only joined AFTER the noob invasion. You have no idea... '03 - early '04 was about as awesome as a forum can get.

I remember how I found this site... I had heard about these "mods" people were using while playing on BG, so I googled "halo mods" and guess what popped up first

Been an active member ever since that day, March 8th, 2004.

Yep, I remember my join date as if it was my birthday 0_o

Nope. I asked just about all of my questions in the IRC.

If I remember correctly I helped an assload with the invasion and I'm still helping out a lot, I didn't just throw up my hands and predict that halomods was gonna die.

Also patrick, we both joined the same year, and just 5 months apart from eachother, so you contributed to the invasion as well.

No not really.My first visit was at the end of 2003 if I remember correctly then I left HM for a few months.

And no I'm not part of the "noob invasion".I know far more then then many people that posted in this thread.Not to mention non of the Staff besides Locke,BEEF and the old guys know about modding or at least know how to create a box map.

To be honest this forum could be renamed to anything and it wouldn't even matter anymore.

I can make a box map thank you very much. But that's about it; plus custom weapons.

Wow. I barely recognize anybody here.

Then again, when I pop in, I rarely stay that long, so I doubt anybody remembers me.

Oh well.

Taking a glance around, I see ravenz and beef! are both still active. That makes me happy, at least. Is jks still active? I recall him being pretty cool the few times I'd drop in.
