Here is my question. Why is the rubber so bright? It is almost like whitesh. How can I fix this?

looks too standard(plain). Try adding metal dirty tiled at around 8-13 to his rubber and armor. Its a good start tho. Just keep adding on.

That actually looks pretty good. Maybe fix the lighting so it blends better and it would be sweet.

you need some specular on the warthog. if you're going for ingame, you need to see if it has detail maps (not sure if those are used in halo 1/pc i havent really touched that stuff) and get the specular color falloff colors (again assuming its like halo 2)

Yeah, they have specular, its just I cant find the bitmaps for it.
