Oh, Microsoft!
Oh, Microsoft!
This is a topic I would really like to understand...Its always made me highly confused as to the (for a lack of a better word) inspiration behind people's claims...
So, firstly, I'm not sure if this topic will be allowed as I (or most likley the moderators) want to see massive Microsoft bashing.
Here we go...
Why do people dislike Microsoft? What are your/their reaons behind it?
I personally find them to be an extremely good business, entering new electronic markets constantly, making fairly good products which then leads to them coming close to dominating or at least taking some market share in that sector. I'm fine with them...I wanna see whats so bad about them...

Would one say its insecure? Or is it more that so many people have Windows that so many people dedicate themselves to finding exploits within the system...
They say mac's are like super secure (mac ads even say "I'm running OSX I'm fine) but is it more the fact that if people were to get all the loopholes and exploits, there wouldn't be much point as there aren't many people to target?
I have been reading that due to some various things in Vista and the growing popularity of Macs (due to both iPods and people thinking they are secure), hackers will soon turn to Macs to exploit as there will actually be people to attack.
But thats my view...I have no real knowledge on the insecurities of OS's.
But thanks.

I like Microsoft and I don't have any problems with it. People that say it sucks is usually because they screw up there computer doing something stupid, then it gives the errors.
No one can say they hate Microsoft if you have a Xbox or Xbox 360.

I've been on both sides of the spectrum. I had an iMac for about a year, then it got a virus and mysteriously died....
So I got a pc with Windows XP Pro, I can honestly say I like it MUCH better. The only thing I liked OSX better for was video editing, but PC has an amazing video editor as well(avid).
M$(XP, Vista)>>>>>>>>>>>>Apple(OSX,Tiger)

Well, this is coming from a mac person: THe mighty mouse sucks, hard. It's the worst mouse Apple has ever created.auerhantheman1 wrote:Yes, well Apple has this wonderful product called Mighty Mouse which has a lame name but is actually pretty cool. It's not like you're paying for a mouse when you buy a computer, they basically come free... Just buy another frickin mouse. They cost like what, $5 at walmart or something? It's not like Apple forces you to use a one button mouse.
kojak, I'm interested in what you call a "virus".
