30 GB Zune Media Player To Be Sold For 60% Off!
This week's Amazon Customers-Vote has currently left the 30GB Zune with 50% of the votes. The media player will be sold for 90.00 USD. Read the instructions on the page and vote to have a chance at claiming your discounted Zune.
Thats pretty cool, but I like iPods a lot

Yeah, that was incredibly lame.Dos Mes wrote:Be careful as hell though, refresh your page seriously like 5-10 minutes before it goes on sale. I was waiting for the 360 last week and it took 15 minutes for the page to refresh because of all the traffic. Then the page loaded and it said, "Sorry, sold out of items at this price.".
I might actually go for this. My 3rd Gen iPod's batteries are starting to go.

You just affirmed that the PS3 DOES look like a George Foreman grill. The irony is that the George Foreman grill is more functionalJK-47 wrote:Thats pretty cool, but I like iPods a lot

On topic: If I had money I might actually go for that even though I'm not a big music listening buff.
My real name is a Mammoth, if someone who cares sees this, please change my name to a Mammoth

Dos Mes: Amazon changed the method of Customers-Vote to prevent that problem. Instead of letting you buy the item when it goes on sale, thus getting thousands of hits per minute, Amazon draws a random 1,000 accounts that voted for the winning item and mails them all a confirmation code that allows them to buy the item.

I like my Pocket PC, I can write programs for it (that is, if I find the fricken' eMbedded Visual Basic download again..), it plays WMV, MPGs, MP3s, WMAs and I can get a DivX and XviD player for it, I can play doom on it (you can play doom on an iPod, too, though), and I have 2gb of space on my SD card (who really needs more? I can fit 6 feature length films on there, I have 3 [Pitch Black, Chronicles of Riddick, and Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, all of which have Vin Diesel in them) and they only take up about 700mb. Plus, I can surf the web when I'm within range of a WiFi network (b, or b/g, but not g, unforetunately, but that's a flaw with the overall technology). Plus I have Word, Excel, and the newer ones have PowerPoint (stupid HP not giving out updates for the camera-enabled ones...) Oh yeah, and I have a 1.2 mp camera. Plus, for $70 I got a keyboard for it (yeah, I know, expensive keyboard, but it's small and compact)
Overall, a $300 (without the camera) Pocket PC beats the iPod, Zune, or anything else into a pulp in every area except space (but seriously, who the heck has 30gb of SONGS? God, my music library is only about 3 gb and I only listen to about 1/4 of the songs in it!)

Everything you'll ever need to know about me.
Need help with Linux, C#, C, Python, Java, PHP, Javascript, CSS, or VB? I'm available from 3:00PM-8:00PM EST on weekdays.
