I remember back in the day, my brothers and I were staying up late playing RE on the Playstation 1, when the (infamous) hallway dog-jumps-through-the-window scene happens. Suffice it to say that we woke up my dad screaming.Tyrant wrote:lol. That's how I felt about the RE series. In the remake, the zombies can enter areas from other areas, so you could be going through this empty hallway again and again with no trouble and all of a sudden, BAM! A zombie comes busting through a door just as you pass it.

Lt Slap a ho is t3h coolest sig maker ever!! Thanks!
I think part of it is from being afraid of your character dying. With Resident Evil, you really don't get a second chance. Even if you save, it typically takes you back a ways. And of course, between the limit number of items you can carry and the limited ammo throughout the game, it's impossible to kill everything, and the camera angles make the controls difficult to manuever around them sometimes.
