Oh God, I hate headcrab zombies worse than I hate the Flood now. And that's saying something.

I change my vote. HL2 @ 3 in the morning is the scariest I've played.

I was laughing my ass off. you saying "OMFG DIED! F*CKING ZOMBIES!" on Xfire made my night and early morning.

btw, conserve shotgun ammo as much as possible and use it on fast zombies/headcrabs, poison headcrabs, and kill the rest with either the .357 or the sawblades laying around and grav gun theminto zombies to chop the zombies in half.

No good if you get stuck in an area with only about 10 shotgun rounds, 4 magnum rounds, and a single fanblade.

I think Doom is pretty scary.
I got home today and starting playing it, and it got really intense at this level I'm on and so I quit doom. Whenever I get scared I scream out all pissed... I made my friend cry in laughter when I was playing it cause its all peaceful in my basement and all of the sudden "OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK YOU MOTHER FUCKER, DIE YOU PIECE OF SHIT ASS BITCH! FUUUCK YOOOOUUU!"

lol.

Yea, i mentioned in an earlier post that I wanted to include The Suffering in the poll, but it would only let me list four. There are two of them out now, so to me that's a series. But yea, the way those pics suddenly POP up on the screen then fade away when he starts to lose his mind. That freaked me out. lol.

when he was walking through the haunted house, and the voice keeps saying stuff dnt come closer and stuff like that, and you get closer and the voice gets louder, and you finally open the closet, and it jumps out at you saying dont come in! opr whatever lol. that scarecd the shit out of me. your knocked out, and you wake up a while later, and you turn your flashliht on and the face is right there!

Well, the only scary part was Ravenholm, and that was just scary because it just draws you into the plot (whether Gordan's gonna make it back to City 17), that you end up playing it into the middle of the night, and by that time you're so tired that whenever something happens, it's dark outside... and somehow... that makes it scary. (Don't question that it's a completely viable reason. :P)

The first time I played 343 Guilty Spark, it was a little freaky, because for the first time, you really didn't have any Marine allies, not even Cortana, there to walk you through the level.

The scariest game ever... Grabbed by the Ghulies. You know that game that came with the xbox with that guy that rapes little girls. But seriously F.E.A.R. was pretty scary at parts with things that kinda creeped you out but Half Life 2 made you jump sometimes (especially ravenholm). I haven't really played Doom (other than the way old one for PC) and I've only seen vids of Resident Evil.

Resident Evil is a very emersive game. Plus they don't give you the tons of ammo to kill all the badies like they do in FPS games.

Resident Evil is intense.
F.E.A.R is just surprising (something comes out and you go "woah" for a second but thats it)
Doom 3, long lasting effects of parinoya and is extremely intense, and things come out of no where and make you jump.

Doom 3 is the only game I've ever been hesitant to start up because I absolutely hate being startled.
