General Pistol Area

Okay, I mod a lot for HaloPC, and I basicaly know everything there is about it.. but for a long time there is ONE THING, I cannot figure out how to do.. I can make the pistol have a big force, and make it a one hit kill, but how do I make it effect places around it and not just what it hits? Like it shoots a rocket?

are you asking how to make it shoot a rocket? or make a shockwave from a melee?

I never said anything about a shockwave.. but that would be cool too... I mean when the pistol bullet hits the ground some 5 feet from the person.. it still kills them.. kinda like those sniper rifle modded maps..

okay
i am not completely sure, but it seems that if you would go to Damage-> pistol bullet
and edit the min and max range (try 8 - 10) that it would still hit. give it a try.
now you see that evil will always triumph... because good is dumb

I've already tried that.. it doesn't seem to do anything...

welll hmm......
maybe if you switched under damage
weapons/frag grenade/shock wave data number with
weapons/pistol/bullet, it may work as long as you add damage to the frag grenade shock wave tag

hey, you can increase the bullet spray on the pistol and make it shoot , like ten bullets.

Probably not the effect he wants though. *opens hmt*
Looks like you want to change either the minimum and maximum radius or minimum/maximum range
