I'm not mad here im just kinda confused.
In Spartan666's topic in the Tricks section, he posted some pictures of his tricks. Just about everyone in the topic started poking at a flame war in the topic. I said some pretty calm things:

I think I was probably one of the only people in the topic trying to calm Spartan down. I wasn't trying to contribute to the flame war, and in the end I just about got the topic under control by commenting on one of his stunts. I don't like flamewars, they are rediculous and I have no reason to keep one up, I agree that my first post in the topic was kinda...flame-ish, I commented on his stunts but told him to stop being an ass. Even Spartan saw that I wasn't trying to start a flame war.
Anyways, my main point is, there were people in the topic saying way worse than I said that were building up the flame war and didn't get any warnings or strikes. Why?

It's not what you said. It's that you kept trying to calm him down. After a couple posts with you anyone would have been able to think he'll never agree unless you call him god. Therefore it was pointless to keep the posts going. After realizing he's dumb, that's when you don't even look at the topic anymore.

Ok, but I'm wondering why I was the only one who got in trouble when there were worse comments than mine. I understand why I got one, and I'm not trying to lift it, I just thought it was kinda wierd that when I was the only one trying to stop the argument I'm the one who got the strike.

I would also like to note that I reported the topic twice and there was more than enough support on my reports that it should have been locked. When no one locked it I decided someone should try and stop a flame war and did what I did.

THe best way to prevent a flame war is to have the topic locked, but since you can't do that just don't post in that, or ignore the war when you post, no one can give you a strike for not posting.

Yes I saw that, but what about the people causing and keeping the fight the fight going. They just going to get left free? I'm sorry but thats pretty rediculous.

Dude, it's the internet. Nothing that transpires here should even effect your emotion standings...

Yes, I like coming here too, and I like to have a place to get away from it all and just relax. But, if I were to let's say...get banned right now, I really wouldn't care at all. Don't worry about it and stop making a deal about it. For one, it's annoying to see someone complain about something so trivial, and two, it was a strike. Big whoop, let's move on with life please

You know how some things can piss you off dos mes? Yeah.
I dont know how many times I have to repeat myself, I just think its rediculous that I get blamed for what happened to the topic. There, said, done, lock topic.
